Contract Cleaning

  1. These Terms and Conditions are between the Cleaner (Goldcrest Cleaning Limited) and the Client and are subject to and in accordance with English Law.
  2. The Cleaner shall carry out the work to the satisfaction of the Client providing all necessary staff, materials and equipment to complete the agreed cleaning specification.
  3. The Client shall provide all lighting, hot water, power and any other facilities which are required by the Cleaner to complete the agreed cleaning specification. The Client shall provide suitable safe and adequate storage, in line with HSE guidance, for such equipment and materials needed to carry out the cleaning duties.
  4. Proposals issued may not consider issues relating to the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006. Goldcrest Cleaning Limited reserves the right to amend the price to account for any TUPE liabilities which may not have been known to us at the date of the original proposal.
  5. Government legislation dictates the National Living Wage Rate (NLWR) annually, usually in April. The Cleaner will increase the contract price usually in April by the legislated percentage. This ensures that the differential between the NLWR and the employees wage rate is maintained.
  6. Without prejudice to clause 5 above this proposal remains fixed for a period of 30 days from date of issue. The price is confirmed on the official order form issued prior to commencement of cleaning.
  7. Payment under the contract shall be made against Goldcrest Cleaning Limited official invoices, which are raised at the beginning of each month for full settlement no later than 30 days EOM following date of invoice. Invoices are usually based on a monthly cleaning period of twelve equal amounts annually.
  8. The proposal may have been calculated to exclude all Weekends and Bank Holidays, substitute day(s) for Bank Holidays is not permissible. Subject to prior agreement, alarm call outs may be arranged and will be subject to a separate call out charge.
  9. The Cleaner will provide insurance cover in respect of the specified services under employers and public liability.
  10. The Client accepts that the Cleaner shall have no liability for any economic loss (whether direct, indirect or consequential) insofar as it relates in any way to loss of business, interruption of business or loss of profits or goodwill as a result of the manner of performance by the Cleaner of any obligations arising under this Agreement. This exclusion of liability will not however, otherwise affect any statutory rights of the Client.
  11. The contract will continue in all its Terms and Conditions for a minimum period of 12 months and thereafter until determined by either party by giving three calendar months’ notice in writing.
  12. The Cleaner complies with GDPR 2018, storing all information securely. Where information is in an electronic format it is stored on servers located within the European Economic Area (EEA). The Cleaner does not share information with any third parties without the express written permission of its clients. By signing this Order Form, the Client consents to the sharing of their information for the purposes of delivering the cleaning service.

One-off Cleaning

  1. These Terms and Conditions are between Goldcrest Cleaning Limited and the Client.
  2. Acceptance of any Agreement shall be deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. A minimum charge of 25% of the order value will apply if cleaning is unable to commence at the agreed date and time.
  4. Cleaning staff will not be utilised for labouring duties.
  5. Builders, builder’s tools, builder’s materials and builder’s debris to be clear from the cleaning site.
  6. Any extra work or re-scheduling of work is to be authorised by Goldcrest Cleaning Limited
  7. Goldcrest Cleaning Limited shall carry out the work to the satisfaction of the Client providing all necessary staff, materials and equipment.

If required, the Client shall provide suitable safe and adequate storage for such equipment and materials needed to carry out the cleaning duties.
  9. Payment under this contract shall be made against Goldcrest Cleaning Limited official invoices, which are raised at the beginning of each month for full settlement no later than 14 days following date of invoice.
  10. Goldcrest Cleaning Limited will provide insurance cover in respect of the specified services under employers and public liability.
  11.
